Helado Negro – “I Krill You”

Helado Negro (aka Roberto Lange) is hard to explain. He’s from all over the place—Ecuador, Florida, Georgia, and now Brooklyn. He’s an accomplished installation artist, and he also makes sexy, mysterious music that melds English and Spanish vocals. The new Helado Negro record is called Double Youth, and it’s his most ambitious and diverse to date—which is surprising since Roberto recorded it in near isolation in his Brooklyn studio.
