The Griswolds – “Beware the Dog”

If they weren’t Australian, they’d never get away with it.

But worry not – The Griswolds ARE from Down Under and, as such, their rock-infused bouncepop works. Why? Because to us relatively dour Americans, Aussies are allowed to have fun, even when they’re indie rockers. And The Griswolds are definitely enjoying themselves on their new video, which mixes fairy tale and horror movie tropes to surprisingly satisfying effect.

The band has just wrapped up their North American tour in support of their debut record, aptly entitled “Be Impressive”and are set to return Stateside late fall after headlining in their native land in October.
